So I got the opportunity to go to New Jersey to do the Wachovia-Wells Fargo conversion at the beginning of February and could not miss the opportunity to go and visit New York, I mean you see or hear about New York in almost every single TV show or movies like Friends, How I met your mother and Sex in the City just to mention some, you just have to go there to see what all the buss is about.
Here is my New York story:
A couple of my co-workers and I met together to go up to New York on our day off (Sunday).We drove my rental car up to the city and found a parking lot (it was not hard at all to find one maybe because it was the weekend and it was in the morning). Anyways, we took a taxi from the parking lot to times square because it was a couple of blocks away and it was a little cold...

The stores... OMG it's just like being in paradise. Express is a 5 story store and Forever 21 so huge you don't even know where to look at and don't even mention Sephora. Was not able to spend a lot of time in the stores since we were trying to go to so many places in one day.
In short here are the things I did in New York in less than 12 hours:
1. Visited Times Square <3
2. Ate a hot dog in Central Park
3. Saw a street show
4. Ate New York Pizza (amazing best pizza ever)
5. Walked around Central Park and took a picture with Elmo :)
6. Rode the train to the bronx lol (got lost for hours)
7. Went to see the Yankee Stadium
8. Went through the Holland Tunnel
9. Saw the Statue of Liberty from far away :S
10. Rode a mustang (convertible) with 5 other people we looked like sardines inside lol
And at the end was so freaking tired that did not wanted to go work on Monday but could not call in sick due to the conversion :S but it was an amazing experience even if it was only for a day and was not able to see everything.
I think its great you got to experience it even if it was just a day :) Ive always wanted to have the money to do random one day trips like that.
